Behind an inconspicuous gray door is the pneumatic tube cellar of the former post office W 66, exactly as it was left in 1973. Every third Tuesday of the month at 5 pm, this secret room with its machines and equipment can be discovered.

The pneumatic tube cellar is the only remaining machine station of the Berlin city pneumatic tube system and thus a unique industrial monument of the 20th century. As the fastest means of transporting information, the pneumatic tube played a central role in inner-city communication in Berlin and other major cities for 100 years.
