Visiting the Museum with Your Baby: This program makes it a breeze for parents to explore our exhibition on Berlin’s city history.
Parents—and grandparents!—take note: With “Elternzeit Kultur,” your museum visit with a baby becomes a relaxing and enjoyable experience. A live guide will provide you with fascinating background information on the exhibition “BerlinZEIT – The City Makes History!” during short tours .
You’ll also find a safe, quiet space where you can eat, drink, breastfeed, and change diapers. We’ve also provided child-friendly toys and a changing table with diapers for emergencies.
To help you navigate the museum safely, we recommend using a baby carrier. A parking space for strollers is available.

This program is part of the collaborative project “Beziehungsweise Familie.”
“Beziehungsweise Familie” is a project involving all cultural institutions active at the Humboldt Forum. Participants include the Humboldt Forum Foundation at the Berlin Palace, the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation / State Museums of Berlin), the Berlin City Museum Foundation, and Humboldt University of Berlin. Special exhibitions and thematic sections within the permanent exhibitions explore the various forms of family life in depth. Events at the participating museums accompany the project.
