Paper Mobiles: Floating Works of Art

Delicate mobiles gradually take shape from a wide variety of papers—lightweight artworks that gently float and move through space. Organic forms are cut out and assembled onto custom-made wire frames, creating balanced, suspended compositions. Along the way, questions naturally arise: How does the paper behave? How do you achieve the perfect balance so the mobile truly floats?

A look at the work of Alexander Calder offers inspiration for these intricate, playful constructions. All materials are provided, and the finished mobiles can be taken home or given as a gift.
