Summer Program for Kids: In this course, after-school groups explore our permanent exhibition, discover Berlin from different perspectives, and share their own stories about Berlin.

For four hours, the children go on a quest for clues in the exhibition “BerlinZEIT – The City Makes History!” What do objects reveal about people’s lives? And who actually decides which stories are told in the museum?

Through creative, hands-on activities, the children observe closely, ask questions, and get to know the people who have shaped Berlin over the centuries. They learn that every story can be viewed from different angles and contribute their own ideas. In this way, they become co-narrators of the exhibition and experience history as vibrant and multifaceted.

Tip: Bring snacks and something to drink for the lunch break.
