What are the materials of the future made of? And what role does lignin play in this? In this workshop, you’ll gain insights into the world of biopolymers and have the opportunity to be among the first to test innovative materials based on lignin—an underappreciated industrial byproduct of wood processing—and transform them into your own products.
After a brief introduction to the importance of lignin as a key building block of the future and a presentation of the materials developed, you’ll have the opportunity to turn them into products using a 3D printer and needle and thread. You’ll receive guidance and instruction directly from the developers themselves. The products created during the workshop can be taken home afterward.
