The young friends’ circle of the Berlinische Galerie, “Jung und Artig”, in collaboration with the Berlinische Galerie and Mobile Kino, present a summer open-air evening featuring contemporary video art.

At the center of the program is the new video work “like moths to light” by artist Gala Hernández López. Before the screening, the artist will be joined by Anne Bitterwolf, curator of the video program at the Berlinische Galerie, for an artist talk about the work.

From 6:30 pm, Nycky Estrella will be playing music on the museum terrace. Drinks will be available, along with an ART BARBECUE by artist Jean-Christophe Massinon. The artist talk begins at 7:30 pm and will be followed by the screening.

ART BARBECUE

With the installation ART BARBECUE, the landscape architects atelier le balto once again celebrate the work “Proposition N°7 pour passer une bonne journée” (2003) by Jean-Christophe Massinon (1962–2011).

On September 3, they will be guests in front of the Berlinische Galerie from 6:30 pm, offering sausages and vegetarian options from the grill – free of charge and outdoors (while supplies last).
