Exhibition talks for older people
Following the great success of previous years, the Kollwitz Museum is once again hosting special exhibition talks. Under the theme ‘Turning Points in Käthe Kollwitz’s Life’, we are creating a space for discussion, reminiscence and new perspectives on the work of this significant artist on three selected Saturday afternoons.
In a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and homemade cake, we will explore the defining turning points in the life and work of Käthe Kollwitz. Her art addresses both personal and social changes – themes that still resonate today and inspire dialogue.
The 90-minute discussions offer a sensitive and lively insight into her work as a graphic artist, draughtswoman and sculptor. Following our discussion, we will visit the exhibition and engage in conversation about the selected artworks.
We look forward to spending these special afternoons with you.
