On August 29, 2026, the PalaisPopulaire will open its doors from 6 pm to 2 am for the Long Night of Museums. In line with this year's theme "Crime," visitors can expect a diverse program: In a live session of the podcast "Copycats – Männer, die von Frauen klauen" at 8:30 pm, hosts Brit Noise and Julia Meyer-Brehm examine questions of authorship, recognition, and creative appropriation using Bauhaus photographer Lucia Moholy and a current art case.
In addition, musical highlights provide special moments: The pop ensemble The Vocals invites attendees to a concert at sunset on the terrace at 8 pm, while the sculpture "Public Resonator" by Nevin Aladağ will be sonically activated multiple times throughout the evening by musicians (7 pm, 9:30 pm, and 10:30 pm). Those who want to escape the hustle and bustle for a moment can make themselves comfortable and discover the current film series "OnView–Transformation," which presents international artistic positions on the theme of change and transformation.
An eventful evening of film, music, and exciting perspectives on art and society awaits all visitors.
