On this guided tour through the museum village, you will learn about the culture, agriculture and crafts of the Middle Ages in a hands-on way.

Explore thatched houses, try out the flail and grind grain with your arms! You can experience the everyday life of the regional rural population around the year 1200 at first hand.

Who were the farmers of that time? Where did they come from? Based on archaeological findings, you can find out who lived in the Havel and Spree region in the Middle Ages and learn about the social changes of the time.
