At the open-air museum, you’ll learn in German Sign Language (DGS) how the villagers in our region lived around the year 1200.
Follow us along a path through the reconstructed settlement back to the time when Berlin was first founded! Along the way, you’ll gain insights into medieval life, as reconstructed from original artifacts found on site. You’ll learn about the tools and craft techniques of that era and even get to try your hand at them yourself if you’d like.
After the tour, you can relax with the whole group and the guide around the campfire, enjoying bread baked over the flames, and discuss what you’ve seen.
