In Focus: Your Summer House as a Graphic Novel
To wrap things up, we’ll design our own summer house—as a story! Inspired by Liebermann and his view of Lake Wannsee, we’ll create our own mini-books, which we’ll fill with our own stories using collage and pastel techniques.
How would you have spent your time at the summer house? Where would you have placed your lounge chair, and how would you have decorated your room here?
Bring your friends and discover the world of Max Liebermann together—the Liebermann Villa on the Wannsee and the life of the family that spent their summers here. Find your favorite spot in the garden or right by the water, let your imagination run wild, and experiment with color, pastels, and various materials. For inspiration, visit the current exhibition and then turn your impressions into your own works of art.
