To accompany the exhibition niemals radlos, the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin is hosting a colorful bike action day for families on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 1 to 5 pm. At various hands-on stations, there will be crafting, playing, puzzling and researching - all without having to get on a bike yourself. At 1 pm and 3 pm there will be guided tours of the exhibition niemals radlos.

Children can design their own Postrad game, test their knowledge of road safety or design a bicycle of the future. Visitors of all ages will also learn exciting facts about the history of the bicycle and why it has become a symbol of freedom and self-determination, especially for women.

How much weight can a cargo bike hold? You can try it out at the hands-on station of the Verkehrsclub Deutschland - with a bit of luck, there are also prizes to be won.

The Berlin Center for Industrial Heritage will be presenting interesting cycle routes to historic industrial heritage sites at an information stand.
