Dive into the energy and diversity of African dance cultures. Together with Anissa, participants will learn the fundamentals of various Afro dance styles – from rhythmic groove and musicality to body awareness and expression. The focus is not only on understanding the movements technically, but on truly experiencing rhythm, feeling, and connection to the music.
Step by step, participants will combine foundations, energy, and groove into a dynamic choreography, where they can discover and express their own style. Inspired by styles such as Ndombolo, Amapiano, Afro House, and other Afro-diasporic dance forms, Anissa brings authentic influences from the international Afro dance scene directly to Berlin.
Workshop Level / Target Group Open to everyone. No prior dance experience required.
