Radical, mysterious and full of poetry: what makes surrealism so special? And how do artists bring the subconscious to light?
Important works of art by Max Ernst, Hans Bellmer, Salvador Dalí, Unica Zürn and René Magritte open up a world in which dreams, chance, the unfathomable and the unconscious take shape.
The dialogical tour invites visitors to get to know Surrealism in all its facets: from its precursors to its literary and artistic beginnings in Paris in the 1920s to its diverse after-effects.
