Radical, mysterious and full of poetry: what is surrealism all about? And how do artists bring the unconscious to light?
Important art by Max Ernst, Hans Bellmer, Salvador Dalí, Unica Zürn and René Magritte open up a world where dreams, coincidences, the unfathomable and the unconscious take shape.
The dialogue-based tour invites visitors to discover surrealism in all its facets: from its forerunners and literary and artistic beginnings in 1920s Paris to its diverse aftereffects.
