This lecture focuses not on Prince Heinrich, who is celebrating his anniversary this year, but on his staff from the palace kitchen and the silver chamber. One of them was Georg Conrad Singstock, a long-time chef.

Who was this man, whose first name was not even known until now? What were his duties? In 1801, 14 people worked under his supervision in the palace kitchen. Responsibilities were strictly regulated, and the hierarchy was clearly defined.

A journey into the everyday life at the Prince’s Court. Curator Claudia Sommer gives a lecture in the former kitchen of Rheinsberg Castle and then guides the guests through the exhibition in the library.Translated with DeepL
