On display are around 15,000 objects that have been invented and designed, produced and traded, bought and used, repaired and disposed of from the 20th century to the present day. Their mass and diversity enable an examination of questions about the character of things, the relationship between people and things and everyday life shaped by objects.

The Werkbundarchiv - Museum of Things critically reflects on the Werkbund's strategies and the product culture of modernity and considers them against the backdrop of a globalized world and major social and ecological transformations.

As part of the International Museum Day on May 17, the admission to the museum and participation in the guided tour are free.
