From the meeting point at Kotti, we head into the hustle and bustle. Our guides look forward to three unforgettable hours with you - amazement, laughter and feasting included. Above all, it is the sometimes crazy stories about the people and conflicts that will bring you closer to Kreuzberg bit by bit. Kreuzberg was founded as a working-class district. For many years, the residents found themselves at the mercy of the decisions of changing governments and interests. Until the day came when they fought back.

Action alliances and permanent cultural institutions such as the SO36 music and culture club, an absolute hotspot of the autonomous scene, were founded. Tough street battles were commonplace here. Kreuzberg has always been a melting pot of the most diverse individuals. Conscientious objectors, intellectuals, artists and creative types were attracted by West Berlin's special status even in GDR times. Today, 180 nationalities live here side by side and together. Multi-culturalism par excellence. Many young creative people and students are still magnetically attracted by Kreuzberg's up-and-coming dynamism. Kreuzberg is always on the move. And so are we on our cheerful tour, where one highlight follows the next.
