How does music have a direct effect on the body? Where do you feel the sounds, and how can you translate them into movement? In this workshop, you’ll explore the soundscapes of composer and artist Ryuichi Sakamoto, where the boundaries between hearing, seeing and feeling become blurred. Back in the studio, you’ll build on what you’ve experienced through short choreographic exercises.
What do you learn about each other when you paint side by side? Which colour do you choose first when nobody tells you what to paint? Who dares to paint without pre-drawn lines, and who has more imagination – the little ones or the grown-ups? Oh well, never mind – come to the studio and experiment with the colours together.
Please note: On 11 October 2026, artist Theresa Rothe will be a guest at the open studio for families.
