Fall Break Workshop: Zine-Making

Workshop for Teens (Ages 12–18)

Printing, Collage, and Storytelling—in this workshop, teens design their own mini-magazine and discover the diverse possibilities of printing techniques and mixed media. Inspired by the current exhibition, we’ll experiment with gel plate printing and a simplified lithography technique to create our own picture stories.

Using simple folding and bookbinding techniques, we’ll create personalized “mini-zines,” which we’ll enhance with collages, drawings, and text.

At the end, all participants can take home an artist’s book they designed themselves.

Participation in the workshop and museum admission are free for children and teens up to age 18.
