In this workshop, you’ll work together to design your own vest and have fun discovering how personality can be expressed through colors, patterns, and shapes.
A mesh fabric becomes a creative canvas: Using colorful threads, beads, and child-safe needles, you’ll create unique designs—inspired by the patterns in the Museum of Islamic Art’s collection or by your own imagination. As you knot and embroider, you’ll learn simple textile techniques and create a one-of-a-kind work of art that you can take home with you.
