Do you enjoy being creative? Would you like to learn more about Islamic art? Are you interested in symmetry and geometric shapes? Then you’ve come to the right place!
Join us as we delve deeper into this aspect of Islamic art. Together, we’ll explore geometric patterns and even try our hand at designing some ourselves. Using examples from the Qalawun Complex in Cairo, educator and artist Ghaidaa Kotb will introduce you to the principles of the twelve-pointed star.
After the workshop, you can take your own creation home with you. A great gift for family and loved ones! This event is open to participants ages 15 and up.
