Curator-led tour at the Brandenburg Gate through the exhibition “Views of the Wall: Berlin 1961–1990”

The curators will lead a tour of the special exhibition “Views of the Wall: Berlin 1961–1990” at the Brandenburg Gate and provide in-depth insights into the exhibition’s concept as well as the background to the construction of the Wall. This exclusive tour explores the history of the Berlin Wall and the division of Germany, inviting visitors to reflect, question, and engage in conversation with one another.

On August 13, Dr. Susanne Muhle, curator and head of the Foundation’s Research and Collections Department, will lead the tour of the exhibition. On August 16, Dr. Sarah Bornhorst, curator for eyewitness accounts and oral history, will lead the tour.

The tour is part of the special program marking the 65th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall.
