What if a significant event in one’s own family had unfolded differently? And what would it be like to examine the details of the past today? In *The Days We Don’t Know*, Jola Wieczorek takes us on a cinematic journey down memory lane to the 1980s. The film centers on her family’s story and their emigration from Poland to Austria.

Afterward, the “Dazwischen-Zimmer” becomes a “memory construction site”: a temporary installation featuring personal items, letters, and stories invites visitors to stir up memories and engage in conversation with one another. A performative reading explores the stories and objects. Filmmaker Jola Wieczorek will also be in attendance.
