#BerlinAuthors from the "Four in the Morning" series

As part of the 48h Spandau Festival

Lesung mit S. M. Gruber

Lesung mit S. M. Gruber

Where are you at four in the morning? Are you already on your way, or are you sitting by your window, gazing into the space between night and morning? What’s on your mind when you’re still awake this late or already up this early?

In the collection "Four in the Morning," 24 Berlin-based authors explore a moment when so much more is happening than meets the eye. S. M. Gruber reads her text "Hunger or a Belly Full of Fear." A student on a school trip tries to explain to his teacher why he’s sitting in concrete pipes at four in the morning.

S. M. Gruber, born in Graz in 1992, has lived in Berlin since 2015. She is a co-founder of #BerlinAuthors, a freelance editor, author, and teacher. In collaboration with M. D. Grand, she edited an anthology in 2021 and published a young adult novel in 2018. Her short stories and poems appear in various literary magazines and anthologies.Translated with DeepL
