On the occasion of her exhibition Moving Clouds, PalaisPopulaire invites visitors to an artist talk with Slovak artist Lucia Tallová, who has been named Deutsche Bank’s Artist of the Year 2026.

In conversation, Tallová will offer insights into her artistic practice, which operates at the intersection of painting, collage, and installation. Drawing on photographs from vintage books and magazines, often combined with found objects, furniture fragments, and natural materials, she creates evocative visual worlds that explore themes of memory, loss, utopia, ecology, modernity, and overlooked female histories.

The artist will talk with Britta Färber, Global Head of Art and Culture at Deutsche Bank and curator of the exhibition, about how the works came about, the themes of the exhibition, and Tallová's artistic perspectives.
