As part of Children’s Culture Month, the “A Picture of Myself” workshop will take place at the Creative Workshop of the Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank Foundation. Here’s what the children can expect:

In our exhibition “Vietnam. Art. GDR,” there are plenty of exciting pictures and works of art to discover—you’re sure to find something you recognize or that will amaze you! Using paper and a pencil, you’ll then draw a portrait step by step. This sketch will be placed behind an acrylic sheet, and you’ll trace the outlines onto the sheet with a black marker. Next, you’ll color in the outlines, either with oil pastels or with a brush and acrylic paints. A motif from the Berlin cityscape is then placed behind the finished portrait, and the two are connected with colorful tape. Finally, you’ll take your colorful masterpiece home with you!Translated with DeepL
