This family tour offers an easy-to-follow and entertaining guide through the permanent exhibition on the city’s history at the Ephraim-Palais Museum.

Families can explore Berlin’s past in a variety of ways. As they race through the centuries, they’ll discover extraordinary objects and amazing stories together. Along the way, they can try out lots of things and experience them with all their senses.

What did medieval fabric feel like? What did Berlin smell like around 1740? Which new inventions made everyday life in the city easier, and how did children live around 1900? Along the way, they’ll meet a plague doctor, the ‘Pitty’ motor scooter and other figures from the city’s history.
