A Night at the Museum and the Creative Workshop

The Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank Foundation is participating in Family Night with its workshop for creative people.

Family Night features a diverse lineup of events to which all families from Berlin and the surrounding area are invited.

As part of the event, children will explore the exhibition “Vietnam. Art. GDR. Reclaiming Solidarity” and learn about the special connection between Vietnam and the GDR. They’ll examine some of the artworks more closely and discuss their impressions and thoughts. In the Creative Workshop, they’ll become artists themselves under guidance. Using a pencil, they’ll draw a picture of themselves step by step. They’ll transfer this sketch onto an acrylic panel and color it in with oil pastels or acrylic paints. A cityscape of Berlin and colorful masking tape will bring it all together into a complete work of art that the children can take home with them.
