In this workshop, we explore paper as a three dimensional material. Through cutting, slitting, and opening, sculptural surfaces, reliefs, and three dimensional structures begin to emerge. Light, shadow, and negative space play a central role throughout the process. Through experimental approaches, we investigate how movement, depth, and tension can develop from a flat surface through precise cuts. The focus is on the creative process, playful experimentation, and discovering new surface qualities in paper.
