Chrysanthi Badeka / MOZ

Chrysanthi Badeka

This multimedia dance performance combines choreographic, audiovisual and digital elements. Through a series of kinetic episodes, the work explores the impact of sound, light, space and movement on human perception and emotion. At its heart lies the interplay between destruction and regeneration, as well as the relationship between the body, nature and technological systems.

By combining choreography, programming and virtual reality, „Terras“ examines the algorithm as movement and integrates computer-assisted processes into contemporary dance. Through VR, algorithmic visualisation and 3D projection, fragmented yet interconnected spatial experiences emerge, creating an immersive, sensory perception.

The piece opens up a space between physical and virtual reality, in which light and sound, as material and immaterial forces, activate the body as both transmitter and receiver. This creates a synaesthetic, multi-layered experience that connects people with the cosmos and nature.
