Sounds Alive

I bet you might think this story is about you, but in fact, it's about the transparent maidens whose fate is determined, about the closeness that wounds them. They just want to sing and talk, but all that comes out of their mouths is „ah ah ah“.

In „Sounds Alive“, two women meet in a time of war, bound by a shared destiny. They appear inseparable at times adversaries, at times sisters yet both are deeply tied to place, to time, and to one another.

Their shared journey unfolds through shifting states of closeness and distance, strength and fragility. They struggle with each other and confront extreme situations, responding in different intensities and emotional frequencies. Throughout the performance, the two women attempt to sing, cry out, and speak yet ultimately produce only a single sound through which their story is told.
