„Ich möchte nicht, dass mich Fremde in der U-Bahn berühren. Und doch hoffe ich, dass jemand zu mir kommt, wenn ich einmal stürze."

“I don’t want strangers to touch me on the subway. And yet I hope that if I were to fall one day, someone would come to me.”

POINT OF TOUCH stems from these words. Not from a desire to celebrate closeness or from the belief that we can truly understand one another, but from the question of what makes another person affect us. Blending documentary fragments, personal memories, imagination, and dance, the performance explores how human connections emerge. Though not intentionally political, it reflects on coexistence beyond the illusion of complete understanding. Instead of asking us to become the same or accepting that we are too different to connect, it suggests a third possibility: we do not have to agree in order to remain side by side.
