Beethoven on Bebelplatz - that's what the Staatskapelle Berlin and its General Music Director Christian Thielemann offer the audience at ‘Staatsoper für alle’, open air and free of charge for all interested parties. The diverse, vividly moulded images of nature in the 6th Symphony, the Pastorale, can be experienced just as much as the drama and upsurges of the Egmont Overture, inspired by Goethe's heroic tragedy. Two of Beethoven's most prominent orchestral works, played by an orchestra with a long tradition, especially when it comes to Beethoven.

Ludwig van Beethoven

Ouvertüre zu Coriolan op. 62

Sinfonie Nr. 6 F-Dur op. 68 Pastorale
