The first premiere of the season is Jacques Offenbach's opera Hoffmanns Erzählungen (The Tales of Hoffmann) on the stage of the Staatsoper - and the Opernkinderorchester is also turning its attention to this imaginative music. Excerpts from Offenbach's last work will be performed, including some of the numbers that have become particularly popular.
