Heroes fight, lovers fail – and only at the moment of death is the truth recognised. Complemented by music by Luigi Rossi, Antonio Sartorio, Lorenzo Allegri and Maurizio Cazzati, a musical drama of harrowing intensity unfolds – passionate, expressive and of timeless emotional power.
