With a host of indoor and outdoor activities, the neighbours of the Kulturforum are once again inviting visitors to enjoy a day in the countryside in 2026. This year, the focus is on architecture. The SIM is offering two guided tours of its building, designed by Edgar Wisniewski based on sketches by Hans Scharoun. The tours start at 3 pm and 4.30 pm at the Musical Instrument Museum and end on the SIM’s roof terrace. After exploring the building, which is primarily dedicated to the theoretical study of music, the focus shifts to a practical activity: yodelling, a musical tradition deeply rooted in nature.
