The Passionate Walker

Robert Walser (1878–1956)—a Swiss writer admired by the likes of Hermann Hesse, Kurt Tucholsky, and Franz Kafka—has never truly achieved widespread recognition, despite the profound yet whimsical messages that characterize his work. Georg Schwark, former principal tuba player of the RSB, takes on these texts, accompanied by his former “musical family,” the ensemble “Samtblech,” providing the fitting musical backdrop.
