What happens when music strays from the usual scripts? “Off Script – Beyond the Soundtracks” captures exactly that moment: when sounds retell stories, break down boundaries, and venture far beyond the familiar.

Paul Dukas’s famous “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” from Disney’s “Fantasia” unfolds its captivating narrative power, while works such as John Williams’s “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and “Spirited Away” open up entirely unique, unexpected soundscapes.

The Junge Ensemble Berlin Concert Orchestra is one of the city’s leading symphonic wind orchestras. Together with their artistic director, Sven Schilling, the approximately 100 musicians continually take on new challenges beyond the realm of classical music. The concert orchestra has repeatedly received the rating “excellent” at the state level as the best ensemble in its category and represented the State of Berlin at the German Orchestra Competition.
