New York Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel

Gustavo Dudamel gehört zu den prägenden Dirigenten des internationalen Musiklebens. Ab der Saison 2026/27 übernimmt er als Music & Artistic Director das New York Philharmonic und tritt damit in die Fußstapfen von Größen wie Gustav Mahler, Leonard Bernstein, Zubin Mehta und Kurt Masur. Im Oktober kommt Dudamel erstmals in dieser Rolle nach Berlin. Auf dem Programm steht Gustav Mahlers 5. Symphonie – ein Werk voller dramatischer Kontraste und visionärer Klangwelten. Eröffnet wird das Konzert mit der Auftragskomposition »Imágenes mestizas« der kubanisch-amerikanischen Komponistin Tania León.
