Children and young people in Berlin can once again use the outdoor pools for free this summer as part of the Superferienpass.

The pass is sold at the pool ticket offices, but also in supermarkets and district offices and costs nine euros, as the pool operators announced a week before the start of the summer vacation.

Repairs to indoor pools in summer

It is also valid for young adults up to and including the age of 18 and entitles all users to use the pools, among other things. From Monday to Friday, children and young people can enter the pools all day. At weekends, they must be at the entrance by 12 noon. By the start of the school vacations in the middle of next week at the latest, most of the remaining indoor pools that are still open will close due to pending repairs. Three indoor pools will remain open in midsummer: the Helene-Weigel-Platz indoor pool and the Tiergarten municipal pool as well as the Ernst-Thälmann-Park indoor pool, which was closed last week.
