Thunderstorms and storms are threatening Berlin and Brandenburg again on Thursday. The German Weather Service (DWD) is expecting thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail in many places from midday.

Locally, up to 30 liters of water per square meter could fall in a short period of time. In addition, it could be stormy or gale-force winds in places. In some places, gusts of up to 105 kilometers per hour are possible. According to the DWD, the storms are expected to move eastwards during the night. During the day it will initially be clear and dry. Temperatures climb to 29 degrees in Berlin. The first showers will start to fall in the afternoon.
