Bundled information on discounts and free offers for people on low incomes in Berlin can now be accessed online. This was announced by the social administration.
Whether it's a 1. FC Union match in the stadium at the Alte Försterei, bouldering in Tempelhof, ice skating in Wedding or a stroll through the Britzer Garten - there are often reduced admission prices. For some activities, you don't have to pay anything at all.
The Fairgnügen (Fair Fun) project is aimed at the more than 700,000 Berliners who receive social benefits. It aims to help them participate in social life. A dedicated website at fairgnuegen.berlin.de lists more than 400 relevant offers. Various filter options and an interactive map are intended to make it easier to search for offers in categories such as culture, sport, education, counselling and leisure. Registration is not required and the information can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
