The German Weather Service (DWD) is expecting a strong heat load in Berlin and Brandenburg on Wednesday and has issued an official heat warning.
Especially in the southwest of Brandenburg, it will be very hot. Only a light wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be between 29 and 33 degrees. Only in the afternoon and evening will clouds appear, especially in the western half of Brandenburg, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms with severe weather potential.
On Tuesday, residents of the capital can expect high temperatures of up to 31 degrees. Some clouds will gather in the night to Wednesday, with showers possible in the west of Brandenburg. According to the DWD, temperatures will fall to between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius.
