Risk of severe weather in Berlin and Brandenburg

People in Berlin and Brandenburg should be prepared for some heavy thunderstorms with hail, squalls and heavy rain today.

It will remain bright to sunny until midday, then thunderstorms may develop, according to the German Weather Service. They have severe weather potential due to the expected heavy rain. A maximum of 31 degrees is expected during the course of the day. During the night, thunderstorms and squalls are to be expected in some regions. These will then slowly subside in the morning hours. Temperatures will drop to 14 degrees at night.
