People in Berlin and Brandenburg have to be prepared for a lot of rain and local storms on Wednesday.
According to the German Weather Service, the day will start with lots of clouds and showers.
From the afternoon onwards, heavy thunderstorms are to be expected, especially in the north of Brandenburg. In addition, hail, squalls and heavy rain with 40, sometimes up to 80 liters per square meter within a few hours are possible. Temperatures of up to 27 degrees are expected.
The weather is expected to calm down for the most part on Thursday night. Only in northern Brandenburg are showers, thunderstorms and locally heavy rain with up to 20 liters per square meter still possible in some areas. It will cool down to 13 degrees.
