A low-pressure system is causing some heavy squalls in Berlin and Brandenburg on Wednesday.
In the morning, the German Weather Service (DWD) is already expecting gusts of wind with speeds of around 60 kilometers per hour.
The wind will then intensify during the morning - wind and gale-force gusts of between 65 and 85 kilometers per hour are to be expected. It may rain at times. Heavy gusts of up to 90 kilometers per hour are possible, especially near rain showers. It will be mild with temperatures between ten and 13 degrees, and it will be mainly dry in Berlin and Brandenburg in the afternoon.
It could get wet again on Thursday night with heavy cloud cover. Temperatures will drop to five degrees. Wind gusts and squalls may still occur at first, but the wind is expected to gradually weaken over the course of the night.
