It will be very hot again in Berlin and Brandenburg this weekend. The German Weather Service (DWD) issued a heat warning for Saturday.
The warning of severe heat stress is in effect from 11 am to 7 pm. In Berlin and Brandenburg, maximum temperatures between 33 and 37 degrees are expected on Saturday. Furthermore, the DWD points out an additional strain in the Berlin city area: Due to the dense building development, temperatures will drop less at night.
In the night to Sunday, it will remain rainy in some regions. Occasionally there may be thunderstorms with heavy rain. Temperatures will drop to 21 to 18 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy and changing. The rain will gradually disappear by noon. Besides occasional gusts of wind, temperatures between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius are expected.
