In light of the expiring protective measures and the pandemic development, the Coronavirus situation report of the state of Berlin was adjusted.
This was announced by the Senate Department for Higher Education and Research, Health, Long-Term Care and Gender Equality. The status report is to continue to ensure a regular and comprehensive assessment of the infection situation.
The key figures "seven-day incidence", "hospitalization rate" and "occupancy of intensive care units by Covid patients" will in future refer to data from the Robert Koch Institute. The key figures "laboratory data" and "inpatient treatment" will be dropped in the short and medium term. In return, data from 3,300 randomly selected patients will be published under the heading ("Stichprobe") ("sample"). Age, symptoms and hospital treatment will be recorded.
