Warning strike on Wednesday: Lufthansa cancels almost all flights from BER

Lufthansa

Lufthansa passengers must prepare for flight cancellations at the capital's BER airport on Wednesday due to the announced warning strike.

The airline has already canceled a large part of its service, BER Airport announced on its website. Lufthansa flies exclusively to the domestic German hubs of Frankfurt and Munich from there. Only four flights to the Bavarian capital were scheduled to operate on Wednesday. It is possible that these will also be removed from the schedule.

Passengers without rebooking should not come to the airport

Lufthansa wants to offer affected passengers alternatives if possible, according to a current customer information. The trade union Verdi has called on about 20,000 Lufthansa ground staff employees for a one-day warning strike on Wednesday. Passengers without rebookings should not come to the airports, because there will be "few or no" service counters open, the company said.
